Storage with heart

At Zebrabox, we believe our facilities can go far beyond storage. When used with purpose, space can become a real tool for support - especially for those making a difference in society.

Under this conviction, for several months now we have embarked on a very special collaboration with BCN PID Foundation, an organisation based in Barcelona that works tirelessly for the well-being of patients with primary immunodeficiencies.

Who is the PID Foundation?

The BCN PID Foundation was born from the joint efforts of healthcare professionals at Hospital Vall d’Hebron and families affected by primary immunodeficiencies. These are rare diseases, but with a profound impact on the lives of those who suffer from them.

The foundation’s mission is clear: to improve diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and quality of life for patients with primary immunodeficiencies, while also promoting research, scientific outreach, and public awareness.

Through a combination of humanity, science, and commitment, the foundation has become a national and international reference in the field of rare immunological diseases.
 

Purposeful space: a meaningful donation

As part of this partnership, Zebrabox has provided several storage units free of charge for the exclusive use of the foundation.

These spaces are essential for storing promotional materials and donated products from supporting brands, which are later sold at the foundation’s traditional Christmas charity fair. This event not only serves as a vital fundraising opportunity but also helps raise awareness and build community support around their cause.

Thanks to this storage solution, the foundation can stay better organized, plan its fundraising events further in advance, and focus its energy on what truly matters: supporting and improving patients’ lives.

Visit to Vall Hebron Hospital

As part of this collaboration, we at Zebrabox had the privilege of visiting alongside the PID Foundation team and sharing a very special experience with some of the hospitalized children.

During the visit, we handed out stuffed animals to young patients with primary immunodeficiencies, bringing a bit of joy and comfort to those going through difficult times. A simple yet deeply meaningful gesture that reinforces our belief that every action matters when it comes to caring and supporting others.
