A special recognition

This month we experienced a very special moment at Zebrabox Spain. During the annual conference of FEDESSA, the Federation of European Self Storage Associations, we had the honor of receiving the “Store Manager of the Year 2025” award - a recognition that highlights the dedication, innovation, and commitment of professionals in the industry across Europe.

For us, this achievement holds a very special meaning, as it represents the hard work, passion, and vision that Anabel López Fernández, manager of our Zebrabox Sant Feliu de Llobregat center, has demonstrated from day one. Her leadership is a true example of how modern management can combine efficiency with empathy, ensuring that every customer enjoys a warm, practical, and positive experience.

Leadership and transformation

Anabel’s nomination was born from a deep conviction: that leadership is not only about achieving results, but also about inspiring, innovating, and caring for people. Under her direction, the center has undergone a major transformation - promoting more agile and collaborative ways of working, integrating digital tools, and optimizing processes with a clear customer focus. But above all, Anabel has succeeded in building a united, committed, and highly motivated team.

Human values and community impact

Her approach to business goes beyond operational performance. She has fostered a workplace where communication, trust, and continuous learning are key pillars. In addition, she has introduced initiatives that reflect the most human values of our brand: spaces designed for both individuals and businesses, a pet-friendly environment that welcomes every member of the household - including the four-legged ones - and collaborations with foundations such as Womanity and BCN PID Foundation, which Zebrabox supports through free storage and logistical assistance.

She has also driven solidarity projects, such as visits to the BCN PID Foundation to donate toys to children with autoimmune diseases - a gesture that perfectly illustrates the empathy and commitment that define her way of working. These actions, together with continuous improvements in customer satisfaction and loyalty, have made her work have a real impact both inside and outside the company.
